La vision des réalités de l’insurrection sur le terrain a été occultée par les préjugés et les passions qui ont amplifié les violences et suscité une masse énorme de rumeurs et fausses nouvelles, et une véritable hystérie sociale. D’où l’essor d’une légende noire sur les atrocités commises et sur le bilan de l’insurrection qui domine encore les esprits. Even today, the representation of the 1947 Malagasy Insurrection remains full of myths and unspoken that prevent the truth from being revealed.
